International Federation of Health and Human Rights Organisations

The Johannes Wier Foundation is part of a network called International Federation of Health and Human Rights Organisations (IFHHRO). This network consists among others of Physicians for Human Rights (PHR) from the USA, Denmark, Israel and?Palestine, Doctors for Human Rights in the UK and CEHAT in India.

The IFHHRO organises international network conferences on an annual basis, coordinates regional networking activities in Africa, Asia and Latin America, provides information on the Right to Health and other health and human rights themes, etc.

Apart from this network close contacts are maintained with the Royal Dutch Council for Health (KNMG), Amnesty International, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), the World Medical Association (WMA), the British Medical Association (BMA) and other organisations.
